A new Experience of Home
Over the past 10 years Joerger Media has produced a series of mutlimedia portraits of the people and lives of those in their home towns located in the area around the Black Forest / Bodensee. These have been melded into multi media events. To date there has been 30 of these shows, all unique combinations of film and live performances. Playing to sold out venues around the region, a total audience of 40,000 people have atended the shows with circa 2500 locals being part of the stage productions and telling the stories of their hometowns.
The JOERGER MEDIA multimedia productions offer the potential for regional local government to engage with their own people and look closely at where they live and work. The resulting stories provide a real oppotunity to look at and discover their own identity and enhance links with partner cities and towns. Everything shown on the big screen and on stage is linked together into a living performance. The citizens tell their stories themselves and thus become important protagonists and help the audience to rediscover their homeland.
